Bluey-Inspired Children’s Cartoon Art
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m looking for an illustrator who can create 25 AI-generated cartoon-style illustrations for a children’s book.
The images must be:
A4 size, full-colour
Bluey-inspired or similar clean Aussie cartoon style
Consistent style across all 25 images
Suitable for ages 5–9
Simple backgrounds, expressive characters
Produced using Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar tools
You will NOT need to do any text layout — just the images.
General scope:
The illustrations will depict everyday children’s situations such as:
crossing the road
school playground moments
canteen/lunch scenes
beach day
sports practice
I will provide the final list of 25 prompts after hiring.
Requirements:
Ability to keep the same characters, same style, same colour palette across all images
Experience using AI tools to generate consistent illustration sets
Clean, friendly, child-safe style
Delivered as high-resolution PNG or JPG
Apply with:
3–5 samples of similar cartoon-style work

• 25 finished illustrations at 4K resolution (portrait orientation, print-ready CMYK)
• Layered source files (PSD or Procreate) plus transparent-background PNGs
• Simple colour palette and character notes so I can keep everything consistent if I commission follow-ups
Acceptance
Artwork must clearly read at thumbnail size, maintain a consistent Bluey-inspired look across all pieces, and depict diverse, relatable child characters (human ) engaged in imaginative play.
First milestone: 3 concept sketches for approval before you render the full set.
