AI 2D Political Dramedy Shorts
Budget: $10 – $20 NZD
I’m launching an 18-episode web series titled “Mr & Mrs WELLington.” Every instalment runs just 30 seconds, yet each one must feel like a bite-size, dramatic Sim-City-styled saga. Picture a once-vibrant Wellington city in New Zealand that’s now drowning in road-cones, bureaucracy and warring Green, Red and Blue figures—all unfolding beneath the noses of honest local workers. Political conflict drives the plot, but personal struggles, community impact, love, marriage and the occasional aggressive showdown keep the tension high.
Here’s where you come in: I need a prompt-engineering storyteller who can turn my strict text scripts into polished 2D animations using today’s best AI tools. From generating characters and environments to choreographing on-screen drama and final compositing, you’ll steer the entire pipeline—then upload each episode to YouTube, optimise titles, tags, thumbnails and shorts placement, and nurture an audience on our road to two million subscribers by spending an hour a day sharing the Ep widely, and working with some sites a company we ate close with own.
Core responsibilities
• Translate my episode outlines into effective prompts and storyboards for AI models capable of stylised 2D output.
Do each Ep within 2 hours
• Produce, edit and sound-bed eighteen 30-second videos that retain a fast-paced, suspenseful tone.
Build a,world class trailer that builds suspense.
• Schedule releases every Sunday and Wednesday at 2 pm and call that (our “Podium of Truth”) and maintain consistency for the series arc.
• Grow the channel: craft click-worthy thumbnails, write SEO-savvy descriptions, engage viewers in comments, and leverage shorts, playlists or collabs to accelerate reach.
• Hand me source files plus final 1080p uploads so we can archive and re-cut later.
Acceptance criteria
1. Each episode visually references Wellington’s cones, stalled roadworks and political colour palette while centring the political opponents, whi h ultimately hurt Wellingtonians.
2. All 18 episodes delivered within the agreed calendar, ready to publish on schedule.
3. Continuous narrative cohesion—plot twists and cliff-hangers linked across the season.
4. YouTube channel analytics show steady upward growth toward the subscriber goal through tactical promotion.
5. A 10sec REXAP of last episode on the front of each.
If you’re fluent in AI-driven animation workflows and hungry to build a binge-worthy micro-series with real social bite, let’s talk timelines and tooling and get Mr & Mrs WELLington on the Podium of Truth.
First Ep is this Wednesday so i need to pick someone tonight and get it all set up to learn, build, sign off and GO LIVE this Wednesday at 2pm.
