build a large ai system so i need strong team in to work it will be huge work
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am spearheading development of a large-scale action title for console and need to architect an AI system that can handle everything from enemy decision-making to dynamic difficulty across expansive levels. The scope is significant: multiple behavior layers, real-time adaptation to player style, seamless integration with existing gameplay code, and rock-solid performance on target hardware.
I envision a modular framework that lets designers plug new archetypes in without touching core logic. Combat tactics, perception, cover usage, navigation, group coordination—each piece must be cleanly separated, well-documented, and optimized for console constraints. Expect to collaborate through Git, maintain clear code comments, and supply periodic tech demos so we can profile frame times on dev kits early and often.
Key deliverables
• Core AI architecture documents and UML diagrams
• Production-ready C++ (or equivalent) modules for behavior, pathfinding, and decision trees/utility AI
• In-engine demo level proving combat behaviors, navigation meshes, and load-aware LOD switching
• Performance benchmarks at our agreed target FPS on console hardware
• Integration guide for design and QA teams
Acceptance criteria will revolve around deterministic reproducibility of behaviors, profiler captures staying within the frame budget, and successful hand-off to our internal tools pipeline. If you have shipped console action games before and can demonstrate scalable AI solutions, I’m eager to review your approach and timeline.
