Set Up My Mango Orchard -- 2
Budget: ₹250,000 – ₹500,000 INR
I own about six-to-seven bighas of agricultural land just outside Sambhar in Rajasthan and I’m ready to convert it into a thriving mango orchard. What I need now is the right professional team to make it happen from day one.
Here’s the scope as I see it today:
• Variety guidance: I’d like your advice on which mango cultivars perform best in the Sambhar climate and soil profile so we maximise yield and market value.
• Planting & spacing: Once the varieties are finalised, you will mark the grid, dig pits, supply or source healthy grafted saplings and plant them at the recommended spacing.
• Irrigation setup: I want an efficient, low-wastage system installed at the same time—open to your suggestions on drip, sprinklers or any hybrid solution that suits local water availability and quality. Please include pump capacity, main and lateral line specs and a simple automation option in your plan.
• Initial nutrition & pest protection: First-year fertigation or basal manuring plus a basic preventive spray schedule so the saplings establish well.
Deliverables I expect:
1. A brief written plan covering chosen varieties, layout diagram and irrigation design.
2. All materials and labour for the actual planting and system installation.
3. A post-planting hand-over note with maintenance advice for the first three months.
The land is already levelled and accessible by tractor; electricity and a borewell are on site. Timelines and pricing are completely open for discussion, and I’m happy to set milestones tied to each deliverable. If you have prior experience setting up mango orchards in Rajasthan (or similar arid zones) and can share photos or references, that will be a big plus.
Let’s talk and turn this plot into a productive mango farm.
