Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need help establishing a straightforward identity-verification flow for my platform. The focus is Identity Verification carried out through a Photo ID check.
What I’m looking for
• Guidance on the simplest, most reliable way to capture and review user photo IDs.
• Recommendations or basic integration of a third-party API or open-source tool that can flag forged documents and extract key data (name, DOB, expiration date).
• A brief set of step-by-step instructions so my team can operate the review process once it’s in place.
Flexibility on ID type
Although the specific document (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card) hasn’t been locked in, the flow should allow us to accept at least two of these options without major rework.
Deliverables
1. A lightweight verification workflow diagram or checklist.
2. Working code snippet or Postman collection that demonstrates the photo-ID check (sandbox credentials are fine).
3. A short user guide (one-page) outlining how to trigger the check, interpret results, and handle edge cases.
