Industrial Marketplace Roadmap Development

Job ID: 40382757

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a seasoned product thinker to crystallise the entire go-to-market path for a new multi-domain industrial marketplace. The platform will eventually span raw materials, industrial services, consultants, capabilities, finished products, and a supplier database, but the first release must centre on the Finished Products domain. Every decision in the roadmap should therefore ladder up to getting that slice launched quickly and credibly before we expand into the other areas.

Here is what I need in the engagement:

• A visual, time-boxed product roadmap that traces the evolution from MVP to long-term vision, highlighting domain expansions, feature waves, and key release windows.
• A crisp MVP definition for the Finished Products track, including which features and user journeys make the first cut.
• A milestone plan with phase gates, clear dependencies, and risk call-outs so I can allocate engineering, design, and go-to-market resources intelligently.
• A dependency map that shows how marketplace modules (listing engine, supplier verification, order fulfilment, payments, analytics, etc.) interlock across domains.
• A written rationale explaining the sequencing logic—why we begin with finished products, how and when we fold in raw materials, services, and the rest, and what success metrics unlock the next phase.

I manage executive stakeholders who expect artefacts that plug straight into Jira, Aha! or ProductPlan, so please structure outputs in industry-standard formats (Gantt view plus high-level swim-lane visualization).

When you reach out, include a quick note on similar marketplace roadmaps you’ve delivered, your preferred framework for prioritisation (RICE, WSJF, MoSCoW, etc.), an indicative timeline to first draft, and a cost estimate. I plan to move fast once I see the right fit.
