About Us:
SafeSpace@elevate is a trauma-informed and culturally safe workplace reporting and response platform. We’re currently building new features to expand accessibility and functionality, and we need support to manage this next phase of development.
The Role:
We’re looking for a freelance Technical Project Manager who can act as the bridge between our founder (non-technical) and our overseas tech partner. This is a short-term, part-time contract (approx. 10–15 hours per week for 6–8 weeks) with the potential to extend.
You’ll be responsible for:
Managing the development workflow (e.g. task boards, timelines, standups)
Tracking feature delivery and raising red flags if timelines or quality are slipping
Communicating clearly and confidently with developers
Performing feature and usability testing (basic QA) before features go live
Documenting bugs, edge cases, and functional issues
Ensuring delivery aligns with our values (trauma-informed, user-centred)
Who you are:
Experienced in managing software development sprints (especially with remote teams)
Familiar with project tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Notion
Comfortable testing platforms from a user perspective (basic QA and UAT)
A clear communicator who can advocate for quality, security, and timelines
Bonus if you have experience in workplace safety, reporting tech, or social impact/startup work
