Description:
I’m looking for an animator to create a 1-minute 2D animated film aimed at educating children (ages 6-12) about pet sterilization. The animation should be simple, engaging, and easy for kids to understand. The film will focus on explaining the importance of sterilizing pets in a fun and approachable way.
I already have the following ready:
Script: The full narrative is finalized, with timing of scenes and shot description.
Aesthetic Example: A visual style reference to guide the overall look and feel.
Your responsibilities will include:
Animation: Bringing the story to life with smooth 2D animation using Duik in After Effects.
Character Design: Simple, cartoon-like characters based on the provided aesthetic.
Background Design: Simple backgrounds appropriate for kids' animation.
Sound Effects and Music: Syncing sound effects and background music.
Revisions: Up to 2 rounds of minor revisions.
Style and Requirements: A carton texture is a must as it appears at the visual sample provided
Target Audience: Kids aged 6-12.
Animation Style: Using Duik tool in after effects Cartoon-like, stylized, and simple (not overly detailed).
Duration: 60 seconds.
Timeline: 1 week for at least 60% of the final video, 12 days for complete project
Budget: 250-350€

Portfolio showcasing 2D animations, ideally for educational or kid-friendly projects.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate on adjustments.
