Video Editor for Geopolitics-focused YouTube Shorts

I run a geopolitics-focused YouTube channel. I require a video editor who can create engaging YouTube Shorts from my long-form videos and manage the posting of those shorts across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
1. Shorts Creation
• Extract 30–60 second impactful clips from my long-form geopolitics videos.
• Edit them in vertical format (9:16) suitable for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels.
• Add:
• Captions / subtitles (Hindi or Hinglish)
• Relevant emojis/icons where suitable
• Engaging transitions
• Background music if required
• Highlighted keywords to increase engagement.
2. Video Editing Quality
• Create high-retention edits suitable for social media.
• Use zoom cuts, jump cuts, graphics, and headline text where relevant.
• Ensure pacing is optimized for short-form content consumption.
3. Thumbnail / Cover Frame
• Create a shorts cover frame with a catchy title to improve click-through rate.
4. Uploading & Publishing
• Upload the edited Shorts to:
• YouTube Shorts
• Instagram Reels
• Facebook Reels
• Add:
• Optimized titles
• Relevant hashtags
• Short descriptions.
5. Posting Frequency
• Expected output:
YouTube long form video per week: 28
Shorts per week: 84
6. Brand Alignment
• Content should match the geopolitics theme of the channel.
• Editing style should be informative, dramatic, and engaging.
7. Turnaround Time
• Each batch of shorts should be delivered within 24 hours after receiving the source video.
