Video Conversion and Software Setup

I need assistance with two main tasks:

1. Convert MP4 videos to MOV format so I can use them in Photoshop or Da Vinci Resolve.
2. Resolve an issue with my new MacBook Pro M5. Da Vinci Resolve is not recognized by the system.
