Social Media Video Editor
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for longterm partnership, but want to get to know your style first. I shoot plenty of raw clips every week and now need a creative editor who can turn them into attention-grabbing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts and longs. Your job is to take the footage I provide, cut the fluff, weave in fast-paced transitions, add on-brand captions and graphics, pair everything with the right music or SFX, and export in a vertical 9:16 and, 16:9 horizontal format that looks crisp on every platform.
Because these are social-media-first short pieces and longer youtube tutorials, I’m aiming for snappy edits under 60 seconds that hook viewers in the first three, and also engaging steady one-on-one-feeling discussion on longer versions for youtube. Expect a steady flow of material—usually a folder of clips plus a quick content brief for each post—and I’m open to your ideas on pacing, effects, and trending styles that fit the message.
Deliverables for each post
• Final video in 1080×1920 (MP4 or MOV)
• Captions burned in and a clean version without captions
• A thumbnail image pulled from the edit or designed in-app
• Project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut) for future tweaks
I handle the copy that accompanies each upload, so you can stay laser-focused on the visual storytelling. If you thrive on creating scroll-stopping social content and can turn edits around quickly, let’s get started.
