90 Minute Motion Picture Drama - Upscale/Remaster to 4K+
Budget: $500 – $1,000 USD

Please follow these guidelines carefully if you wish to apply for this work.
The task is to remaster a full length 91 minute motion picture to the crystal clear high resolution standards required today by the major ’Streamers’. Netflix, AOLtv, Disney, etc. They will not buy a film unless it is 4K or better.
I have already hired, paid and fired six editors who either did not understand or were not good enough to achieve the goal. I want to sell this film. It cannot be sold unless it is 4K+. This job is to upscale and remaster this film to 4K+.
If you succeed you will be paid. If you do not; based solely at my discretion, you will not be paid. You are welcome to ‘watermark’ your submissions. I have lost too much money and time giving this job to people who said “I can do that”. I paid them and erased their work. No more. Now you must prove your work.
To prove that you are an expert you must upscale/remaster part or all of a 10 minute scene ‘link’ from the actual film. This is an UNPAID AUDITION to be considered for hiring to do the whole film. If you are chosen to be hired you will be paid $1000.00 USD upon completion of all work. The work is not done until I say it is; highest resolution of image and sound delivered @ 4K+.
There should be an example of what you need to achieve so I paid an expert (not available) to upscale one minute to show two things. (A) is obvious. It shows this film can be fully remastered. (B) It shows the quality of work you must provide to meet or surpass if you want to be paid.

Use the best software at your disposal. No single ‘upscale’ button will work.
UNIFAB ALL IN ONE seems quite good. Scene by scene - best software is the only way to do this. Remember that Remaster includes repair of all dropouts, noise, facial imperfections, aliasing, jagged movements, motion blurs, horizontal lines, etc. Everything must be corrected to look like it was filmed yesterday by Disney or Netflix because they will be our target customers.
Some brilliant editors are now mixing ‘regeneration’ with ‘upscaling’. But be careful. Your work must be absolutely PHOTO-REALISTIC. No plastic faced robot people are allowed (specially in the background). If someone is a really great editor and does work beyond all expectations, I am not opposed to paying a bonus on top of the $1000 job. But again, that will be totally at my discretion. Whoever is chosen; know that I will be here to help guide the process through every step. Best of luck, as I really insist this be done right.
