90 Min 720P Motion Picture Drama - Upscale/Remaster to 4K

The previous post was not concise. Please follow these work guidelines.

The task is to remaster a full length 91 minute motion picture made 20 years ago to the crystal clear high resolution standards required today by the major ’Streamers’ before they will even look at it to buy. Netflix, AOLtv, Disney, etc. all demand 4K or better. I have already hired six editors, paid them and threw their work in the trash. Why? Again; please understand this clearly. If the film is not brought up to current 4K standards—it can’t be sold. Improvement (22% better, 79% better) is worthless to me. This job requires 720P brought up to pure, flawless 4K. Repeat; 4K. Nothing else will do.

I am seeking an editor that owns UNIFAB 3.0 “ALL IN ONE”. It must be the “ALL IN ONE” version to have the tools required to do the job. A 20 second clip from the film is attached for your “audition”. I will select the editor who provides the best upscale of this 20 second clip. NOTE: Topaz already worked on the film in their laboratory to test their new “Starlight” program. The results from the short clip they did were “INCREDIBLE”. I mention this because I now know it can be done. This film can be brought to 4K. But the Starlight program cannot yet do a 90 minute film.

If any prospective editor thinks they are going to just press the “Upscale” button on Unifab without remastering each scene, correcting each mistake, they are very much mistaken. Six editors tried to play that game and it only ended up in hurt feelings. I know because I paid for every one of their failures. This will be hard work. It will require days of concentrated detail correction. The goal is fixed at 4K or better.

That is why a very special editor is needed. The work I received to date was embarrassing. Six past editors all knew computers. But they DID NOT KNOW FILM. THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT ART SHOULD LOOK AND SOUND LIKE. That is why they all failed. They were mechanics, not artists. To make this film ready for sale, it must not only be upscaled. It must have any dropouts, noise, facial correction, aliasing, stilted movements, motion blurs; all corrected. You get the picture. It must be REMASTERED to look like it was filmed yesterday.

These are the terms: The editor must be expert at Upscaling, highly experienced at film editing requirements, own and intimately know how to make UNIFAB ALL IN ONE 3.0—SING! If the work is less than 1080P or there are editing flaws it will be rejected fully. No pay. If the best I can get is corrected full 1080P only worthy to sell to the 2nd tier ‘Streamers’ the pay will be $500 upon my approval. If ‘magic’ happens and the full corrected, remastered and upscaled film reaches a full 4K I will pay up to $1000.00. If the film goes beyond the 4K remaster required (6K-8K) and is truly something really special, I will pay $1,500.00. We are on the borderline here between upscale and 'regeneration'. But clearly understand; no 'plastic' looking people or scenes will be tolerated. ALL WORK MUST BE PHOTOREALISTIC.
