I’m a French director/ editor preparing a video for the opening of a gala celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Lycée Français de New York. I’m looking for a skilled After Effects animator to create a dynamic, engaging 2-3 minute video, and I’d love to hear if this project interests you. Here’s the concept:
The video will feature four co-chairs (women) filmed against a green screen, each delivering a 30-45 second speech in English to introduce themselves and kick off the event.
The footage will be shot on Tuesday, March 25, in a studio with a prompter. I’ll provide their finalized speech texts. Your task would be to transform this into an animated, high-energy montage—think short VOX explainer videos, but instead of photos, we’re using their live speech footage. I’m envisioning changing backgrounds, text animations, and creative transitions to keep it far from boring and make a punchy opening statement for the gala.
I’d like the video to feel fresh and original, with a modern, lively vibe (e.g., shifting backgrounds, kinetic text, subtle effects), while keeping the focus on the women’s speeches. The total runtime will be between 2 and 3 minutes. The final video will need to be open to 3-4 rounds of revisions, as these four co-chairs will validate it.
