Cinematic Orange Terratrike GTS Recumbent Trike Assembly Video
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are making a video of a mechanic building a recumbent trike (like a bicycle). The scenes are a detailed recording of everything that goes into this complex machine and ha been filmed with an artful presentation in mind.
We imagine that the finished project will be cinematic and tell the story of how these products come to life in our shop. The scenes are divided into stepwise building with only the product visible along with the mechanics hands and arms. In the background is simply the shop. No faces should come through in the final product. Sliders and gambles were used to capture smooth video but some panning and dynamics will need to be added in post production.
the focus of the video is the recumbent trike product itself. Our customers are passionate about their trikes and this video needs to show that we share their passion and wish to present the art of bicycle maintenance in this short film.
We hope for the finished work to be between 5 and 15 minutes long. The music should be ambient, ethereal and compelling. There may be opportunities to add musical pieces along the way but the recumbent trike should always be the focus -not the music.
Much of the motion would be made more interesting by slowing the motion a bit and putting the motion in time with the music. We also imagine that a fade from black in the first establishing scene, as well as a fade to back in the final closing scene (followed by credits) might be the best way to bookend the project. We also imagine in that credits would be best presented over a dynamic background -maybe in slow motion and maybe with the background being subtle ghost images fro the film.
