Cinematic Acting Footage Shoot
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I need a skilled DP / videographer to capture fresh dialogue scenes for my acting portfolio. We will work in an indoor studio so we can fully control the sound and look. I’m after true cinematic quality, so please light the set however you normally achieve that polished, film-ready aesthetic—whether that means softboxes, motivated practicals, or a dramatic key/fill ratio is up to you.
Scope
• Block and shoot two short dialogue scenes (around 60–90 seconds each).
• Record clean synced audio on-set.
• Deliver both the camera originals and a lightly edited, color-balanced cut of each scene suitable for self-tapes and showreel use. Basic titles and a slate are helpful but not required.
What I’ll provide
• Scripts and scene partners.
• Studio access and props.
• A clear shot list and performance notes in advance so we can move efficiently.
What I need from you
• Camera package capable of 4K capture, prime lenses preferred.
• Lighting kit that supports a cinematic look.
• Ability to pull focus, monitor sound levels, and handle a straightforward edit with balanced dialogue, room tone, and simple grading.
We’ll schedule a half-day shoot, followed by a quick turnaround on the edited files (ideally within one week). If this sounds like your wheelhouse, please tell me about similar studio dialogue work you’ve shot and the gear you plan to bring.
