After Effects Text Automation Script
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a script for After Effects that will format and reposition a linear text asset based on data from an Excel or CSV file. Its to recreate the compass bearing along the top of an image to inform the viewer which way the panorama is facing - see example attached.
Camera bearings for each frame will be listed in an excel/csv, the aftereffects script will need to read the excel and slide the compass strip left or right accordingly for each frame.
Requirements:
- Handle text assets
- Format text using two different fonts
- Reposition asset based on Excel/CSV cell data
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in After Effects scripting
- Experience with Excel/CSV data integration
- Strong understanding of text formatting in After Effects
