Performance Based Affiliate Recruiter for Trades Apparel
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I run a Canadian trades-focused apparel brand called Toughneck.
We create bold, edgy, no-corporate, blue-collar humor designs for welders, pipefitters, heavy duty mechanics, oilfield workers, and similar trades.
I am not looking for generic marketing.
I am looking for someone who understands how to identify people who can actually drive sales.
**PAYMENT IS PERFORMANCE BASED! NO PROVEN SUCCESS = NO PAYMENT DUE TO INFLUX OF AI USERS NOT DELIVERING RESULTS***
Your task is simple in theory but execution matters:
You will research, identify, narrow down, and recruit affiliate marketers who will promote my brand and generate trackable sales.
This is not a social media posting job.
This is not a “write me content” job.
This is a targeted affiliate recruitment role.
Here is exactly what I expect.
Step 1 – Research
You will analyze competitors in the trades humor niche (example: Troll Co – trollco.ca / trollco.com).
You will review their most engaged Facebook and Instagram posts.
You will identify which posts generate the most reactions, comments, and shares.
You will observe patterns in tone, format, and content style.
Step 2 – Identify Prospects
From those high-engagement posts, you will compile a spreadsheet of engaged users.
Focus on users who publicly interact (comments > reactions preferred).
From that group, narrow down to profiles that are public or semi-public.
From there, narrow further to individuals who:
• Post about trades or blue-collar work
• Appear to be active on social media
• Have some following or visible engagement
• Fit a younger demographic (approx. under 35 preferred but not mandatory)
• Show personality aligned with bold trades humor
Step 3 – Spreadsheet Deliverable
You will create a clean spreadsheet that includes:
• Name
• Profile link
• Platform
• Estimated engagement level based on metrics such as their average like count on posts, followers, recency of interactions in comments, etc
• Why you believe they are a good affiliate candidate
• Notes on tone / personality
• Any red flags
I do not want random names dumped into a sheet.
I want reasoning for each selection.
Quality over mass spam.
Step 4 – Outreach
You will draft and send outreach messages to selected prospects.
No spammy mass messaging.
No generic copy-paste garbage.
Personalized, short, direct messages only.
Your goal is to recruit affiliate marketers who will agree to promote Toughneck using a unique trackable code.
Each recruited affiliate must generate at least one real sale.
Success Criteria
The project is considered successful when you recruit 5 affiliate marketers who each generate at least one trackable sale using their code.
Payment Structure (You Choose)
Option A: Fixed Performance Fee
You receive $50 if you successfully recruit 5 affiliates who each generate one sale.
No sale = no full payout. Payout will be performance based only.
Option B: Commission Model
You receive a percentage of sales generated by the affiliates you recruit.
This continues for an agreed period.
You must choose your preferred option in your pitch.
Important:
This is performance-based.
If affiliates do not generate sales, you will not receive the full performance payout.
However, if you demonstrate strong effort and real progress, partial consideration may be discussed.
Timeline
This project runs through the end of the week.
You must begin immediately.
Daily updates required.
Spreadsheet progress must be visible within 48 hours.
Outreach must begin within 72 hours.
Expectations
• No overcomplicating
• No excessive questions
• No theory essays or AI generated bids
• Action focused
• Clear reporting
• Honest communication
• No fake leads
What I Provide After I Hire You
• Brand link
• Product details
• Affiliate tracking codes
• Commission structure for affiliates
• Clear task direction
What I Expect in Your Pitch (STRICT)
Keep pitch under 150 words. I do not want to read paragraphs, this is a strict job that requires strict rule adherence and using AI to create rambling proposals is not accepted and will be ignored.
Answer the following:
1. Which payment option are you choosing?
2. What is the fixed payout amount (Write answer to prove you read regardless of choosing commission or fixed)?
3. How many affiliates must generate sales?
4. When is the project deadline?
5. In 3 sentences, explain exactly how you will find high-quality affiliate candidates.
6. Will you get paid the full 50$ amount if there are no sales generated from your efforts?
If you do not answer all 6 clearly, you will not be considered.
Additionally:
In a private message after submitting your pitch, send one short example of a trades style joke to demonstrate you understand the tone of the audience.
This role is ideal for:
• Entry-level affiliate marketers looking for performance upside
• Sales-driven freelancers
• People confident in outreach and persuasion
• Individuals who understand blue-collar humor and culture
This role is not ideal for:
• People who need hand-holding
• People who dislike performance pay
• People who send generic AI pitches
• People uncomfortable with offensive humor
First freelancer who follows instructions precisely and demonstrates a clear action plan will be awarded the project.
If you are confident you can recruit real affiliates who produce real sales, apply now.
