Luxury E-commerce Site Redesign
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented WordPress developer or team to fully rebuild and optimize our fashion e-commerce site, Ardelic.com, using WPMUDev, Elementor, and a clean, secure plugin structure.
This project is not for beginners. We’ve already had a failed attempt with a previous developer due to technical inexperience. You must demonstrate past work with high-end, visually polished, mobile-optimized WordPress e-commerce sites that use advanced filtering, slider animations, and strong security practices.
Objective:
The current site is underperforming due to plugin overload, slow speed, legacy page builders (WPBakery), and frequent bot attacks. We need a rebuild from scratch, maintaining our WPMUDev environment, and creating a polished, luxury experience for our growing market in:
Australia
Singapore
Hong Kong
Scope of Work Includes:
1. Site Rebuild + Visual Design
Rebuild site from scratch using Elementor (no WPBakery remnants).
Continue using Woodmart theme unless a clearly superior, lightweight alternative is proposed (include time & cost impacts).
Redesign homepage and all internal pages using new, professionally styled layouts.
Replace all images (except product images) with high-quality, regional-specific visuals. Brand colours must be retained.
2. Slider Redesign (Slider Revolution)
Rebuild homepage sliders using Slider Revolution.
Develop 3 region-specific slider variations (Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia) based on cultural and seasonal differences.
All products remain the same globally — only homepage sliders change by region.
3. Advanced Product Filtering
Replace outdated filters with AJAX-based filtering on:
-Shop page
-Brand Profiles
-Sale Page
Filters must allow in-page sorting by Brand, Category, Price, etc.
Filters must not redirect to the Shop page when used.
4. Navigation + UX
Simplify and modernize site menu.
Focus only on Men’s Fashion, Women’s Fashion, and Accessories (for now).
Eliminate Homewares, Sporting Goods, and other legacy categories.
Add breadcrumb trails and smart search refinements.
5. Security & Performance Hardening
Use WPMUDev Defender Pro, Hummingbird, and Smush Pro.
Remove all unused plugins, old page templates, and custom code.
Integrate Cloudflare CDN and maintain Google Analytics.
6. Geolocation Integration
Detect user location (AU, SG, HK) and show the correct regional homepage slider.
Site language stays English.
Standard currency is in AUD. Currency changes by region: AUD, SGD, HKD.
7. SEO & Analytics
Implement SmartCrawl SEO best practices.
Ensure metadata, headings, and images are optimized.
