Affiliate Program and Prospect Research

Affiliate Program Research + Affiliate Prospect List (Cricket / Trading / Soccer Niche)



Job Description:

I’m looking for a freelancer to help with affiliate research and list building for a cricket trading education business.

This project is split into two phases.

Phase 1 (THIS PROJECT – REQUIRED)

Research and organisation only. No outreach, no sales, no messaging.



Task 1: Affiliate program research (desk research only)

Research publicly available affiliate programs across related industries:

Cricket betting & cricket trading

Soccer betting & soccer trading

Sports trading education

Stock market trading education

Crypto trading education

Sports analytics / data products

Cricket analytics, tactics, and strategy platforms

For each program, collect (where available):

Company / brand name

Industry / niche

Commission rate (%)

Cookie duration

Payout method & frequency

Notes on positioning

Important:

Please include programs that already cover cricket and soccer as well as other industries for comparison.

This is research only. Do not contact or sign up to any competitors.

Deliverable for Task 1:

A clearly labelled tab/sheet in the Excel file containing the competitor affiliate program research.



Task 2: Affiliate prospect list (Phase 1 – list only)

Build a list of 50–100 potential affiliate partners, such as:

YouTube creators

X (Twitter) accounts

Telegram channel owners

Blog or forum contributors

These should already cover:
Please also find some in other unlated indutries that you think may be a good fit as well

Cricket

Soccer

Sports betting / trading

Data-driven sports analysis

For each prospect, include:

Name / handle

Platform

Approximate audience size

Country

Contact method

Short note on why they may be a good fit

Deliverable for Task 2:

A clean Excel sheet with the list of affiliate prospects.



Phase 2 (OPTIONAL – NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PROJECT)

After Phase 1 is completed, I will review and approve the list.

Only after written approval may outreach be discussed as a separate phase or milestone.

No outreach is to be done unless explicitly approved.



Deliverables

One clean Excel spreadsheet containing:



Tab 1: 20–50 relevant competitor affiliate programs (including cricket, soccer, and cross-industry comparison)
10 competitor affiliate programs list outside the mentioned areas?



Tab 2: 50–100 potential affiliate prospects
20 potential affiliate prospects outside the areas mentioned


Budget

Fixed price: AUD $100–150





Questions for Freelancer:

How many competitor affiliate programs do you think you could provide in the 20–50 range?
How many competitor affiliate programs do you think you could provide outside the mentioned areas to also compare?
How many affiliate prospects do you think you could provide in the 50–100 range?
How many affiliate prospects do you think you can find in other unrelated indutries that you think may be a good fit as well?

and suggest any extra columns that maybe required

Requirements

Experience with affiliate research, lead generation, or influencer research

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable working with spreadsheets

Good written English

Understanding of sports betting / trading content restrictions is a plus



Timeline

Expected completion: 3–5 days after hire

Work can be completed asynchronously
