Surveillance UAV Design Brief
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a complete conceptual design for a small-to-medium UAV dedicated to surveillance missions in both urban and rural settings. The aircraft must be optimized for mixed-environment operation, so flight stability in tight city corridors is just as critical as endurance over open farmland.
My main goal is to finish this phase with a package that includes:
• airframe geometry and materials recommendation
• propulsion and power-system sizing (electric preferred, but I’m open to hybrid if you can justify the trade-offs)
• sensor and payload layout focusing on high-resolution day imaging; feel free to propose thermal or night-vision modules if they fit within the weight envelope
• estimated performance figures: cruise speed, loiter time, ceiling, and range
• a concise BOM with indicative weights
Deliver everything as a PDF report plus native CAD files (SolidWorks or Fusion 360) and any supporting calculations or spreadsheets you use.
If your background covers aerodynamics, lightweight composites, and integrating gimballed camera systems, I’d like to hear how you’ll approach each section and the standards you’d follow.
