AS9100 QMS Development & Implementation

I’m looking to roll out a fully compliant AS9100 Quality Management System for our aerospace and defence programs and need a specialist to take the lead from documentation through to implementation.
Scope of work
Our priority is AS9100 (not ISO 9001 or NADCAP), and the system must speak directly to our manufacturing and supply-chain operations. You will draft the complete document set—Quality Manual, tier-two Procedures, and detailed Work Instructions—then integrate them into our day-to-day processes and prepare project-specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
Key objectives
• Translate AS9100 clauses into clear, concise documents tailored to our product lines and supplier network.
• Align the new documentation with current workflows, identifying gaps and proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Deliver QAPs that satisfy individual contract requirements and can be adapted quickly for future bids.
• Support rollout activities such as awareness sessions, process owner coaching, and readiness checks for certification audits.
Acceptance criteria
• All documents reference AS9100 Revision D and reflect our defined scope.
• Processes are mapped, risk-based thinking is evident, and KPIs are embedded.
• QAPs match the formatting and content expectations of typical Tier-1 primes.
• A brief handover report outlines implementation steps, records, and next actions.
