Parametric BWB Wing-Body CAD Design around Fixed VTOL Fan System

Job ID: 40421103

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

Title:
Parametric BWB Wing-Body CAD Design around Fixed VTOL Fan System

Description:
We are developing a hybrid VTOL aircraft with a central lift fan (already designed).
Your task is to create a clean, parametric CAD model of the outer wing-body geometry.

IMPORTANT:

The central fan, duct, and closure system are already defined in CAD
These components must NOT be modified
You will design the aircraft around this fixed geometry

Scope of Work:

Redesign outer wing-body (BWB configuration)
Aerodynamic outer contour
Rear flap / rear wing structure
Integration of 2 rear propulsors (e-Genius style)
Propulsor tilt concept (±40°)
Clean, watertight CAD for simulation

Requirements:

Experience with aircraft or aerodynamic shapes
SolidWorks / Fusion / CATIA or similar
Ability to create parametric geometry
Understanding of aerodynamic surfaces (not just mechanical CAD)

Deliverables:

Full CAD model (STEP + native format)
Simplified aerodynamic model
Screenshots (top, side, front, section)
Short explanation of design choices

Nice to have:

Experience with BWB or UAV design
OpenVSP knowledge

IMPORTANT:
This is NOT a simple CAD drawing task.
We are looking for someone who understands aerodynamic geometry.
