Liquid Rocket Engine Design

Job ID: 40516159

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I need a complete preliminary design for a liquid-propellant rocket engine. The exact configuration—bipropellant, monopropellant, or cryogenic—will be chosen after an initial trade study, so the first milestone is a concise comparison of those three options against the mission profile, target thrust class, reusability goals, manufacturability, and cost.

Once the architecture is selected, the work will expand to:

• Thermodynamic performance sizing (CEA or equivalent codes)
• Combustion chamber and nozzle geometry with regenerative or dump cooling strategy defined
• Turbopump or pressure-fed feed system calculations
• Injector layout and mixture ratio optimisation
• Hot-section FEA for thermal and structural margins
• Manufacturable CAD models (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred)
• A brief technical report summarising assumptions, analysis, and resulting performance with at least a 10 % margin

Mission requirements (∆v budget, envelope limits, propellant choices, and duty cycle) will be provided at project start. Deliverables must include the native CAD files and all analysis spreadsheets or Python/MATLAB notebooks so I can iterate internally.

The design should close on paper for a minimum of ten reuse cycles and be ready to hand straight to detailed-design and prototyping teams.
