Design and Engineering of Small RC Model of Aircraft / Drone Wings and Tail Unit
Budget: $500 – $1,000 USD
I am Looking for Aerospace Engineer with an experience in Design and Engineering of Radio Controlled (RC) model of Aircrafts or Drones. Small Project, need design and engineering of detachable Wings and Tail unit for predetermined configuration of small RC model of all electric Aircraft / Drone (880mm Wing Span, L= 1600mm, MTOW 55-60kg), as shown in the attached images. More Images and info will be provided after job acceptance. Project need to be completed in 3-4 weeks
SKILSS ARE REQUIRED: Aircraft Design and Engineering, RC Aircraft Models / Drones Design and Engineering, Aircraft Performance Calculations, Mechanical / Structural Engineering, CAD/CAM
JOB INCLUDES:
1. Calculations of major performance parameters of the predetermined RC Aircraft/Drone Model configuration including, but not limited, to: Drug Coefficient, Wet Area, Max. Speed, Cruise Speed, Stall Speed, Max Flying Time, Range, Mass etc.
2. Detachable Wings, as shown in the attached images, Design and Engineering, Selection of Airfoils and Wings materials, Attachment Mechanism to predetermined Main Body , Selection of Servos and Control Electronics, Producing of detailed 3D (STP or similar format) and 2D (PDF or JPG format) engineering drawings, suitable for 3D printing / or possible alternative manufacturing methods. Manufacturability of the design is important.
3. Detachable Tail Unit , as shown in the attached drawings, Design and Engineering of Tubular Tail Body and Fins, Attachment Mechanism to predetermined Main Body, Material Selection, Servos and Control Electronics and Avionics Selections and Engineering Integration, Mechanically Ejectable Launch Rocket Booster Tube Design and Engineering, Motor Attachment to Tail Unit Mechanism Design and Engineering,
Accessories , such as Antennas, Cameras, Airspeed Probe, Launcher Tubes etc Attachment Mechanism design and Engineering. Producing of detailed 3D (STP or similar format), and 2D (PDF or JPG format) engineering drawings, suitable for 3D printing / or possible alternative manufacturing method. Manufacturability of the design is important.
Your capability to do the job has to be proven by verifiable portfolio and feedback. It will be No Partial milestones release, only final payment upon Completion and Acceptance of the project.
