DJI Agras T100 Remote ID Modification
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are seeking proposals from qualified UAV professionals for the customization of a DJI Agras T100 via physical and/or firmware modification.
Deliverables: You are to propose and implement modifications that allow the T100 to operate without broadcasting Remote.Identification (“RID”) per the facilitated regulatory exemption. The solution in your proposal can either make the RID toggliable or permanently disabled via hardware and/or firmware modification. The modifications should be implemented while maintaining safety and without compromising the integrity of the flight system.
Background: Our client had facilitated a 14 CFR 89 exemption from Remote ID for the purpose of aeronautical research. Physical access to the T100 is available on Long Island, New York if you require physical access to complete the modifications.
Qualifications: (1) Knowledge of DJI’s Agras line and/or experience performing these modifications are preferred. (2) A professional level understanding of UAVs and their systems is required. (3) Living within traveling distance to Long Island is preferred.
Deadlines: Our aim is to select a proposal by May 29th and have the work completed by June 5th.
Proposals: Please submit a proposal no later than May 29th for consideration. In your proposal, please include (1) an outline of your method and the major tasks which must be performed to successfully complete this project, (2) your qualifications and experience, including relevant education and employment, as well as prior work with UAVs, the DJI brand specifically, and performing the tasks you are proposing, (3) your geographic location, and if you do not intend to perform the modification work in person, how you intend to do so, (4) your quoted cost for the project, including any travel and equipment expenses. While cost is important, we care more about the quality of the work. Please also include (5) a statement that you will be able to complete the work by 6/5/2026.
Questions: Please message us with any questions and we will respond with 24 hours.
We look forward to reviewing your proposals. Thank you!
