Help Me SELL Online Courses With Paid Advertising (on a budget)
Budget: $5 – $20 CAD
Hello freelancers,
I'm working on a small online school in the localization industry. The project is called Localization Academy (.com), you can look it up.
Recently we created a fully self-taught online course for Localization Project Management. This course is mainly targeted at beginners. Our price tag is $97 which is way lower than the competition, yet we also think that we provide more hands-on and practical training.
Most of the students who take the course are really satisfied with it, we get testimonials easily, they see the value.
The problem is that we don't have that many students now. Our reach is mostly organic through our content and SEO.
I'd like to fix that with your help and work with you to establish a proper funnel. I have some "money in the bank" for this, but it's still a rather limited budget. So you'll need to be smart about ad spend.
In your application, please indicate:
1) how would you find out what kind of ads work for this project and how to get the most out of every dollar?
2) how much time (or money) do you think is needed to "figure" it out and get it to a profitable conversion rate?
3) what platforms you would focus on for this project and why?
4) the course is sold at $97, do you think you can get the CAC to half of it?
5) most of our students and audience is from the US. How will this affect your work?
6) can you create the whole campaign including the copy and graphics? Or what would we need to provide for you?
7) Please share references and your accomplishments from similar projects.
General qualities I'm looking for in anyone:
- accountability. Your word needs to matter. If you propose a deadline for delivery, either deliver on time or let me know before if you can't make it.
- systematic. I'm going to give you a TON of feedback. You have to be able to go through every single comment and either fix it or reply. If you're reading this, include the word 'bish' in your application. If I tell you 24 things to change, and you process only 22 of them, it's not going to work long-term.
- you have a good amount of demonstrable experience
- you're willing to learn, always.
Shortlisted applicants will have to go through an unpaid test where we can assess their skills. If you are not willing to do it, please don’t apply.
thank you!
