Modern Website Design Refresh
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
My website (www.fenceandgate.net.au) looks and feels dated, so the priority is a complete refresh of its design and layout. I want the entire visual experience—fonts, colours, spacing, imagery, and page structure—to feel current and engaging for today’s visitors.
Two principles must guide every decision:
• Responsive design – every page should adapt gracefully from large desktop monitors down to the smallest phone screens, passing Google’s mobile-friendly test without layout breaks.
• Rich, high-quality imagery and video – hero areas, galleries, and section headers should all feature crisp visuals optimised for fast loading.
Right now I’m not tied to any particular section; rather, I’d like the overall site modernised so the homepage, inner pages, and any shared components (navigation bar, footer, etc.) present a consistent, upgraded look. If you have better structural ideas, I’m open to them.
To make expectations clear, I’ll need:
• Design mock-ups or prototypes of the key page types (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar).
• Final responsive HTML/CSS (or clean hand-off assets if you work purely in design).
• A style guide summarising colour palette, typography, and imagery guidelines.
Please factor in cross-browser testing, accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 AA where reasonable), and performance optimisation for the new images and videos. I’ll share the current URL and brand assets once we start; you can then propose a realistic timeline and any milestone structure you find effective.
