Minimalist Blog Site Design

My new blog needs a calm, uncluttered visual identity that lets the writing take center stage. The focus is purely on graphic design: I already know the platform I’ll publish on, so what I need from you is the aesthetic layer—layouts, typography, colour palette and image treatments—all in a refined minimalist style.

Here’s what will make the work a success for me:
• A homepage and standard article template designed for desktop, tablet and mobile break-points.
• A cohesive style guide covering fonts (web-safe or Google Fonts), primary and secondary colours, spacing rules and any iconography you introduce.
• Source files delivered in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD with clearly named, well-organised layers so that my developer can implement them without extra hand-holding.
• Accessibility in mind: good contrast ratios and legible text sizes.
• All stock imagery or icons, if used, must be licence-cleared for commercial use.

Feel free to suggest subtle animations or micro-interactions if they complement the clean aesthetic, but avoid anything that distracts from reading.
