5-6 min Documentary Video Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’ll be handing over raw footage for a short, documentary-style piece that ultimately needs to run between five and six minutes. Your job is to shape that material into a clear, engaging story: trim the takes, weave in relevant royalty-free stock shots, layer readable on-screen text, and sweeten everything with appropriate SFX or light music stings.
The tone should feel like a concise mini-doc rather than a vlog or promo—think structured narrative with smooth pacing, tasteful lower thirds, and well-timed cutaways that illustrate the voice-over or interview bites. Basic colour correction, audio balancing, and subtle transitions are expected so the final export looks polished on any platform.
Turnaround: I need the finished video delivered within a month of project start, giving us a bit of room for one round of revisions if needed.
When you reach out, please link to past documentary or storytelling edits you’ve handled so I can quickly gauge style fit.
Deliverables
• Final 1080p (or higher) mastered video file
• Project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—whatever you cut in) with all assets neatly organised
Let me know if you spot any gaps in the brief; otherwise, I’m ready to share the footage and get rolling.
