I’m looking to hire a video editor to edit my vlogs for my YouTube channel. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience and build their portfolio. The role involves editing content on a regular basis to create engaging and polished videos that resonate with my audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Incorporating Intros and Outros: Add pre-made intros and outros to the videos to maintain consistency and branding.
Utilizing Transitions: Use transitions between clips to ensure the video flows smoothly and keeps the viewer engaged.
Adding On-Screen Text: Place on-screen text at specific points in the video as needed to highlight important information or emphasize key moments.
Executing Precise Cuts: Make clean, precise cuts to improve pacing, ensuring the video is dynamic and engaging throughout.
Applying Colour Grading: Apply basic colour grading to ensure the video has visual consistency and a polished, professional look.
Skills Required:
Medium-level experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other equivalents).
Ability to work with raw footage and enhance it by following guidelines for smooth pacing, flow, and visual consistency.
Attention to detail to ensure all edits align with the channel’s style and tone.
A basic understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and the YouTube audience.
