YouTube Video & Shorts Editor
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I run an entertainment-focused YouTube channel and I’m ready to hand off the entire editing pipeline—both the longer episodes and the bite-sized Shorts that accompany them. Your job is to turn raw footage into viewer-friendly, algorithm-loved videos that keep watch time high and make each punchline land just right.
What I’ll supply:
• Raw 4K footage, audio tracks, and any reference material for jokes, memes, or callbacks.
What I need from you:
• A polished long-form video for YouTube (usually 8–30 minutes) with clean pacing, engaging cuts, captions where they add value, and royalty-free music or SFX that enhance the humor.
• At least one repurposed Short per episode, cut specifically for YouTube Shorts—vertical, punchy, and under 60 seconds.
• Eye-catching thumbnails and metadata suggestions are a bonus if they’re in your wheelhouse.
Creative freedom:
I haven’t locked myself into a single editing style, so feel free to experiment—fast-paced meme edits, subtle cinematic touches, or a hybrid approach. The only rule: it has to feel fun and keep the story moving.
Workflow & tools:
We can collaborate through Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—whatever you’re fastest in—as long as you deliver export-ready files plus project files for future tweaks. Google Drive or Dropbox for asset exchange and Frame.io or similar for review notes work great.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Final YouTube video exports in 4K and 1080p, properly color-graded and audio-mixed.
2. Shorts delivered in 1080 × 1920, under 60 seconds, with burned-in captions.
3. Turnaround time: within 4–5 days of receiving footage unless otherwise agreed.
4. Two rounds of revisions included to dial in pacing or graphics.
