Video Editor Needed for Study Abroad YouTube Channel
I am looking for an experienced and creative video editor to edit informative YouTube videos focused on study abroad, scholarships, student life, visas, and living overseas.
Editing Level Required
The editing style should be more advanced than basic cuts and simple captions. I am looking for a modern YouTube editing style with strong text animations, clean transitions, visual examples, overlays, B-roll, icons, zoom-ins, sound effects, background music, and engaging pacing.
The videos are informative, so the editor should be able to make educational content visually engaging without making it too flashy or distracting.
Responsibilities
* Add effects, transitions, and motion graphics
* Create professional text overlays, captions, and callouts
* Design custom text animations
* Add relevant B-roll, icons, graphics, and video overlays
* Use sound effects and background music where needed
* Improve pacing and viewer engagement
* Adapt the editing style based on the topic and audience
Requirements
* Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software
* Advanced skills in text-based editing and motion typography
* Experience editing YouTube videos
* Ability to use AI tools to improve editing quality or speed
* Strong creativity and attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Ability to deliver on time
Preferred
* Experience with educational, study abroad, or informational content
* Understanding of YouTube audience retention and engagement
* Ability to suggest creative improvements, not just follow instructions
