YouTube Video Editor Wanted

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing 10–15 minute long YouTube videos that are engaging, fast-paced, and optimized for audience retention. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–15 minutes) with smooth cuts, transitions, and visual effects
Add background music, sound effects, and audio enhancements
Insert text animations, captions, and call-to-actions
Use b-roll footage, stock footage, and memes where needed
Color correction and basic color grading
Sync video with voiceover and background music
Create engaging thumbnails (bonus skill)
Ensure videos match the brand style and tone
Export videos in formats optimized for YouTube
Requirements:
Proven experience editing YouTube content
Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects
Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and viewer retention
Good knowledge of pacing, hooks, and storytelling
Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Good communication and revision-friendly attitude
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Motion graphics and basic animation
Experience with YouTube shorts and reels
Thumbnail design experience
Knowledge of copyright-free music and fair use guidelines
