YouTube Video Editor (Long-Term Freelancer)

We are looking for a skilled and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. You will be responsible for editing engaging, high-quality videos for our YouTube channel — including vlogs, tutorials, podcasts, reels/shorts, and promotional content.

Responsibilities:

- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final videos.
- Add background music, sound effects, text overlays, transitions, and animations.
- Cut unnecessary parts while maintaining storytelling flow.
- Create YouTube Shorts/Reels from long-form videos for social media.
- Add intro/outro and maintain consistent brand style.
- Ensure high-quality exports optimized for YouTube (1080p/4K).
- Deliver on time and respond quickly to feedback.

Requirements:

- Proven experience editing YouTube or social media videos.
- Proficiency with software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection for file transfer.
- Good communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

- Experience with YouTube SEO optimization (titles, thumbnails, captions).
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or Canva for thumbnail design.
- Familiarity with YouTube trends and storytelling formats.

Project Type:

- Ongoing project (2–5 videos per week)
- Each video: 5–15 minutes
- Also require short clips (30–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts.
