Video Editor (YouTube) – After Effects Specialist
We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor with strong After Effects expertise to edit YouTube videos that drive retention, growth, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate understands YouTube pacing, hooks, and storytelling, and can combine clean editing with motion graphics, animated text, and visual overlays.
Responsibilities
Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos with growth-focused pacing
Create hooks, transitions, animated titles, lower thirds, and kinetic typography in AE
Stabilise footage, manage colour correction, audio cleanup, and green screen keying
Add b-roll, visual cues, overlays, and captions to improve retention
Maintain brand consistency with reusable templates and asset libraries
Deliver final exports in YouTube-optimised settings (1080p/4K, VBR, high bitrate)
Requirements
Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects
Experience editing videos for YouTube channels (samples required)
Understanding of retention, watch time psychology, and audience drop-off points
Ability to work with feedback and meet deadlines consistently
Bonus: motion graphics, thumbnail experience, LUTs workflow, and AE templates
