YouTube Sports Storytelling Editor

Job ID: 39879605

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m launching a brand-new sports channel and need a skilled video editor who can craft engaging narrative-style stories around each game or athlete. Every episode will weave together player interviews, key game footage, and a punchy voiceover to create a compelling arc that keeps viewers hooked from the opening frame to the final call-to-action.

Here’s how I see the workflow:
• You’ll receive raw interview clips, licensed match footage, and a script or guide track for the voiceover.
• Your job is to shape those assets into a 6-10 minute video with tight pacing, smooth transitions, on-brand lower thirds, and dynamic sound design.
• Final deliverable should be YouTube-ready: 1080p (or higher), optimized audio levels, engaging thumbnail stills pulled from the timeline, and timestamps/chapters noted in a text file.

I work primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so familiarity with either platform is important for seamless project hand-offs. Please highlight your relevant experience in narrative sports editing—show me examples where you combined interviews, action cuts, and voiceover to tell a story.

If we click on this first assignment, I’m planning a steady release schedule, so there’s strong potential for ongoing work.
