YouTube Social Video Editor Internship

I’m opening a remote internship position for a beginner who wants hands-on experience editing social-media-style videos for my YouTube channel. You will receive raw clips and a reference brief for each piece; your task is to trim, reorder, and polish them with clean cuts, smooth transitions, and tight pacing so they feel native to YouTube’s short-form feed.

Because this is an internship, I’m not expecting advanced motion graphics or heavy colour work—basic editing fundamentals done well are what matter most. If you’re comfortable in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, or any modern NLE, that’s fine; use whichever tool lets you work fastest while still exporting a high-quality 1080p file.

Typical flow
• Download the footage (cloud link provided)
• Assemble the storyline, removing dead space and filler
• Add simple transitions where cuts feel abrupt
• Balance audio so speech is clear and levels are even
• Export and upload the finished MP4 plus your project file

We’ll start with one test video; if it clicks, expect a steady queue of similar edits each week and detailed feedback to help you grow. Show me a sample you’ve edited—no need for perfection, just evidence you can handle basic cuts and pacing—and tell me which software you prefer so I can share the right project assets.
