YouTube Social Media Video Editing
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have a steady flow of 4K footage from recent shoots that now needs to be shaped into engaging, on-brand YouTube content. My background is photography and cinematography, so I will supply well–lit, properly framed material; what I’m missing is a fast, creative editor who can turn that raw footage into finished videos that hold attention and drive channel growth.
Here’s what the job looks like from my side:
• Footage arrives to you via Google Drive in organised folders (A-roll, B-roll, audio, graphics).
• Final deliverables are YouTube-ready files in 16:9 (and, when the footage allows, a vertical cut for Shorts).
• I’ll provide a rough brief for each video—key message, preferred runtime, sample references—and expect you to handle the full post-production pipeline: clean edits, smooth pacing, colour grading that matches the shoot, tasteful transitions, basic motion graphics or lower thirds, light sound design, and royalty-free music where it fits.
• Turnaround is ideally three business days per video once you have everything you need.
Acceptance criteria
– Exported in H.264 MP4, 1080p or 4K as specified in the brief
– Audio peaks below –1 dBFS, loudness around –14 LUFS
– No copyrighted assets; all graphics, fonts, and music must be licence-free or provided by me
– A revision round is included so we can fine-tune pacing, colour, and graphics
Preferred tools are Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, but if you’re comfortable in DaVinci Resolve and can deliver the same polish, that works too—just be sure you can supply the project file along with the final renders.
If you’re quick, communicative, and have a reel that shows strong storytelling for social media, I’d love to start with one video and roll straight into ongoing work.
