YouTube Gaming Editor Needed (Valorant / Aim Training Content)
I’m building a Valorant and aim-training YouTube channel and am looking for a long-term editor who wants to grow alongside the channel.
The workflow is different from traditional editing jobs. I will usually provide multiple hours of gameplay footage, examples of the editing style I’m aiming for, and a rough idea of the video’s topic. Your job is to go through the footage, identify the important moments, and create a rough structure for the video.
Once the first edit is ready, I’ll record my voiceover around the edit itself. This means the timeline should leave natural spaces where commentary can be added later, and the pacing should be designed to support educational and entertaining narration.
Content Style
The channel focuses on:
* Valorant gameplay
* Aim training
* Kovaak’s and aim improvement
* Educational gaming content
* Challenges, experiments, and improvement-focused videos
Editing should include:
* Strong hooks in the first 15-30 seconds
* Gameplay B-roll and highlight moments
* Smooth cuts and pacing
* Zoom-ins on important moments
* Captions and subtitles when needed
* Humorous edits, memes, reaction images, or GIFs when appropriate
* Visual storytelling that keeps viewers engaged
I will provide reference videos so you understand the style I’m aiming for.
Collaboration
Discord communication is essential.
I don’t just need someone who edits and disappears. I want an editor who is comfortable:
* Chatting throughout the week
* Joining occasional Discord calls
* Discussing ideas and video structure
* Giving creative input
* Working together to improve content quality
Weekly Workflow
Day 1:
* I send gameplay footage, references, and video idea.
Day 3-4:
* You send a rough cut with the best moments selected and the video structure built.
Day 4-5:
* I record voiceover based on the rough cut.
* We review everything together on Discord.
Final:
* You complete the final edit and export.
Deliverables
* YouTube-ready export (1440p60 preferred)
* Project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
* Organized assets and folders
Budget
Current budget:
₹800-₹1200 per video (depending on how long it is, and the budget will increase as the channel increases)
This is a long-term position with weekly uploads. As the channel grows and begins generating revenue, the budget will increase accordingly.
