YouTube Current Affairs Documentary Edit
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m ready to move my latest current-affairs piece from raw footage to a polished YouTube release and I need an editor who can shape it into an engaging, fact-forward watch. The goal is an informative documentary that feels clear and uncluttered, so the visual treatment should stay minimalist—clean cuts, restrained lower-thirds and graphics, no flashy transitions that distract from the story.
All interview takes, on-location coverage, voice-over tracks and reference articles are already organised in folders. Your job is to:
• Assemble a tight narrative flow that keeps viewers oriented and informed.
• Balance dialogue, ambient sound and subtle background music, removing hums and pops along the way.
• Apply a light, consistent colour grade and gentle sharpening so everything looks cohesive across cameras.
• Add concise lower-thirds for speaker names, date stamps and brief context points, always in a simple, modern style.
• Deliver the final master in 4K and 1080p H.264, plus a separate SRT captions file and the editable project (Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve—whichever you prefer).
If you have access to royalty-free current-events B-roll that matches our topic, let me know; otherwise I’ll supply any extra footage you need. Please include a link to at least one previous YouTube documentary you’ve cut—something that shows you can keep a brisk, informative pace without resorting to heavy graphics or gimmicks.
Looking forward to seeing how you can elevate the story while letting the facts stay front and centre.
