Vlog Polishing & Creative Edits
Budget: $30 – $200 USD
I own a LEGO resale store and make content revolving around what I do on a day to day basis. Every week I shoot a casual, talking-camera vlog and need a skilled editor to give it that final layer of polish I can’t quite achieve on my own. You’ll be weaving the clips into a tighter story, cleaning up the visual look through solid color grading, sweetening the audio, and laying in readable captions.
Beyond the fundamentals, I love when an editor adds personality: fresh music cues, creative transitions, the occasional subtle effect—whatever feels right for the footage. I’m flexible on style; the soundtrack and pacing should shift with the mood of each episode rather than forcing a single template. I would also like to be able to easily communicate with the video editor. I natively speak English in the United States. I need you to be able to speak fluently in English over email.
Here’s how the workload breaks down:
• Weekly vlog — lighter lift. I supply the raw footage; you time it, refine the narrative flow, balance audio, grade the colors, add captions, then top it off with your own musical touch. I earmark $100 for this pass.
• Occasional “high-effort” pieces — collection hauls or trade-in showcases with real viral potential. These need deeper storytelling, punchier edits, snappier transitions, maybe a few tasteful VFX, and a more deliberate music bed. These projects land at $200.
I export everything in 4K 60 fps. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve are all welcome—use the platform that lets you work fastest. Just return a clean master file that I can watch and let you know if anything needs to be changed. I expect you to make changes until it I give it the pass.
