Description: We’re SkillMight Technology, a fast-growing Nigerian-based digital learning and income platform. We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented video editor to help us craft a viral-style promotional ad video for our platform.
We already have a few materials and a sample reference video to guide the editing style, pacing, mood, and structure. We’re looking for someone who can create a scroll-stopping, highly engaging promotional video that resonates with the Nigerian youth and online audience.
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who can creatively edit a video to match a viral ad feel
Expert in transitions, on-screen texts, meme-style captions, and effects
Ability to cut, trim, and re-sequence content for impact
Add suitable background music and sound effects
Professional color grading and pacing
Ability to follow a script or direction while adding creative input
Comfortable creating both landscape (YouTube) and portrait (Reels/TikTok) formats
Requirements:
Proven experience editing viral-style or high-engagement ads
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Ability to deliver within a short turnaround time
Must be open to feedback and revisions
Include links to past work or your portfolio (especially reels, ad content, or comedic edits)
