We're explorador (explorador.pt), an AI real estate platform in Portugal. Our short-form content recently went viral, 6M+ views across TikTok and Instagram, by calling out how absurd housing prices have become. We want to keep that engine running and turn it into a consistent channel.
The role
We're looking for a short-form video editor to cut punchy, fast-paced vertical videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) from raw footage we record. You'll own the edit: hooks, pacing, captions, sound, and retention.
What you'll do

Edit raw talking-head and screen-recording footage into 20 to 60 second vertical videos
Write and time on-screen captions in European Portuguese
Build strong hooks in the first 2 seconds and edit for retention
Use trending audio, sound effects, zooms, and text overlays
Deliver fast, with quick turnaround on a steady volume

Requirements

Proven short-form editing experience (portfolio of TikTok / Reels you've edited, ideally with view counts)
Understanding of European Portuguese (for caption accuracy and timing)
Fluent with CapCut and/or Premiere Pro / After Effects
An eye for hooks, comedic timing, and what makes content shareable
Reliable and fast, comfortable with a recurring workload

Nice to have

Experience with finance, real estate, or "edutainment" content
Ability to suggest video ideas and angles, not just execute
