I'm a freelance video editor who's been building something special over the past two years, and I've reached an exciting milestone—it's time to bring someone talented on board to help scale our operations.
What I'm Looking For:
I need a skilled editor who can own the foundational editing work—the backbone that makes great videos possible. This includes creating rough cuts, trimming unnecessary footage, and sourcing the perfect b-rolls and assets. Your work will free me up to focus on the high-level creative finishing touches like motion graphics, sound design, and color grading.
That said, if you're passionate about those creative elements too, you're absolutely welcome to explore them—but the core focus will be on executing solid, efficient foundational editing.
The Projects:
YouTube videos
Corporate promos
Short-form content
Social media ads
Compensation & Work Structure:
Budget: $25-50 per project
Schedule: Project-based with flexible hours (this role isn't suited for traditional 9-5 schedules—you'll have the freedom to work when it suits you best)
Workload: Depends entirely on your capacity and how many projects you're comfortable taking on
What You Bring:
Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals
Efficiency and attention to detail
Self-direction—you know what needs to be done and can deliver without hand-holding
