As the Camera Person & Video Editor, you will handle both shoot execution and post-production, ensuring Agora Circle’s content maintains high creative and technical standards. You will capture long-form sessions (podcasts, conversations, and masterclasses) and craft them into engaging short-form clips and visual stories that connect with finance and trading audiences.

This role demands a balance of visual storytelling, technical skill, and understanding of the content’s thematic depth, especially within the finance and trading space.



Key Responsibilities

Edit both long-form videos (podcasts, explainers, interviews) and short-form assets (reels, teasers, and highlight clips).
Maintain consistent brand tone, pacing, and storytelling across all formats.
Perform color correction, basic motion graphics, and audio clean-up for a polished final output.
Adapt long episodes into multiple platform-friendly snippets optimized for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
Track trends, audios, formats, and engagement patterns
Work closely with the Creative, Brand, and Research teams to interpret financial topics into visually engaging narratives.
Suggest visual styles, B-roll ideas, and creative angles to enhance storytelling impact.
Maintain and calibrate camera and lighting equipment; troubleshoot during shoots.
Stay updated with new editing trends and finance content formats across platforms.
Coordinate with video editors and content team for timely uploads
Engage with comments, DMs, and community interactions
Analyze basic performance metrics and share insights


Experience:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in video production, camera operation, and editing, preferably within finance, media houses, creative agencies, or content-led startups. A strong portfolio of both long-form interviews/podcasts and short-form social content is essential.



Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marketing, Communications, or Media Studies, with keen interest in the areas of brand management or digital marketing.
Expert-level skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve etc.).
Familiarity with motion graphics and color grading.
Proven experience with multi-camera setups, lighting rigs, condenser mics, and podcast/video production workflows.
Working knowledge of OBS or similar live streaming software.
Proficiency with cinema cameras, lenses, gimbals, and stabilizers.
Basic understanding of audio recording and sound editing.


Creative & Professional Skills:

Strong sense of visual storytelling, narrative pacing, and composition.
Understanding of finance, trading, and economic topics (preferred but not mandatory).
Understanding of what makes content perform well on YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
Organized and proactive and should be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within a content calendar.
Ability to translate data-heavy or analytical discussions into visually engaging formats.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with the creative, brand, and marketing teams.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing shoot schedules and fast-paced environments.
Attention to detail with a creative eye and problem-solving attitude.
