We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and help elevate the quality and engagement of our YouTube channel. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with our brand, tone, and audience expectations.
This is an ongoing opportunity for the right person who is passionate about storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit YouTube videos from raw footage (intros, main content, outros, etc.)
Add transitions, b-roll, sound effects, music, text overlays, and animations
Ensure brand consistency in style, colors, and tone across all videos
Enhance audio quality (noise removal, volume leveling, syncing)
Create engaging thumbnails and simple motion graphics when needed
Collaborate to meet publishing deadlines
Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, formats, and audience engagement tactics
Requirements:
Proven experience editing YouTube videos or similar digital content
Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
Understanding of YouTube best practices (hook, retention, algorithm-friendly editing)
Ability to handle feedback and revisions quickly and professionally
Excellent attention to detail and time management
