Ongoing Video Editor – ChefKas & Las Vegas Capoeira Academy
We’re looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Video Editor to help bring the energy and vision of ChefKas and the Las Vegas Capoeira Academy to life through high-quality, engaging short-form videos.
This ongoing position will involve editing footage filmed by ChefKas (Adam Kaswiner) and transforming it into captivating highlight reels, training edits, promotional clips, and social content that reflect the unique energy, professionalism, and lifestyle of both brands.
Responsibilities
Edit video content for both ChefKas (personal chef brand, nutrition, lifestyle, and events) and Las Vegas Capoeira Academy (Capoeira training, events, classes, and community).
Create short, captivating, and visually exciting videos for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Incorporate music, captions, logos, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Collaborate on brand style, pacing, and tone to maintain visual consistency across all projects.
Deliver completed videos formatted and optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and web use.
Manage an organized workflow with clear communication and consistent turnaround times.
Requirements
Proven experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of social media content pacing and trends.
Ability to work with direction and creative input to match each brand’s style:
ChefKas: high-end, cinematic, luxury Vegas aesthetic.
Las Vegas Capoeira Academy: energetic, cultural, movement-based, community-driven.
Must be able to handle footage organization, color correction, sound design, and subtitling when needed.
Passion for storytelling and visual creativity.
