Video Editor Wanted: Story-Driven Instagram Reels (Long-Term, Recurring)

Job ID: 40596583

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking for a video editor to join my team on an ongoing basis for a recurring client project. This is not one-off gig work — if it goes well, it's steady monthly volume with more clients to follow.

A cinematic 5-episode storytelling series documenting a garden transformation, from empty raised beds through planting, first harvest, and cooking with the produce. Each episode is 45–60 seconds, cut from a mix of short video clips and still photos. After this series wraps, the work continues with real estate property reels and lifestyle/pet content.

This is storytelling, not tutorial content. I need someone who can take 30–50 mixed assets and build a piece with a real narrative arc, elegant transitions, and a polished, cinematic feel.

Deliverables per month
5 cinematic episodes (45–60 sec, vertical 9:16)
2 Story teaser cuts (15 sec, pulled from the finished episodes)
Up to 2 rounds of revisions per piece
Source files delivered alongside final exports

Needed
Proven cinematic/narrative editing — please link 2–3 reels you cut yourself, ideally lifestyle, travel, food, or real estate
Strong sense of pacing and music sync
Skill at making still photos feel alive (motion, parallax, movement — not static slideshows)
Clean text and caption styling; ability to build and reuse a consistent template
Color grading for a warm, natural, premium look
Comfortable working in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro
Reliable communication and on-time delivery — this is a recurring client with a posting schedule

Nice to have
Light motion graphics / animated titles
Sound design beyond the music bed
Experience with real estate or property video

How this works
All creative direction comes through me — you won't manage client
I'll provide a style guide, brand templates, and a shot list per episode
Organized asset folders delivered per episode, about a week ahead of deadline
Turnaround: fast turnaround needed.
