Travel Vlog & Reels Editor
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I spend my days on the road filming with a DJI drone, Osmo Pocket and Action 4, then end each trip with hours of RAW footage that needs shaping into stories. I want every long-form vlog to feel relaxed and cinematic, while the companion shorts—7 to 15 seconds each—should instantly transport viewers into the most breathtaking landscapes we pass.
Here’s how the workflow normally looks. I share a folder of clips, reference music and a rough beat sheet. You craft a seamless edit, leaning heavily on smooth transitions and gentle pacing, grade just enough to keep colours natural, lay in licensed music, add captions when they help the story, and export ready-to-publish files for YouTube (16:9) plus vertical reels (9:16). Consistency across episodes matters, so once we lock a visual style you’ll help maintain it.
Typical deliverables after each trip:
• One polished travel vlog (usually 10-20 min)
• A batch of short-form vertical edits that spotlight scenic landscapes
I’m flexible on tools—Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve all work—as long as the final output is crisp and artifact-free. We’ll review cuts together in Frame.io or similar, iterate quickly, then move on to the next adventure. Payment is issued per video, and the collaboration is intended to be ongoing; reliability and fast turnarounds are therefore just as important as creative flair.
If stitching sweeping drone shots with smooth motion ramps, sound-designing rushing waterfalls and matching them to mellow cinematic tracks sounds like your idea of fun, let’s start editing the first episode.
